Description

Natural England wishes to commission passage and wintering bird surveys during September 2023 to March 2024, across terrestrial land with a potential to provide supporting habitat for bird species associated with the Humber Estuary Special Protection Area (SPA)/ Ramsar. These surveys will be used to inform habitat suitability modelling for golden plover, curlew and lapwing and therefore a methodology has been proposed to systematically sample areas within a 10km radius of the Humber Estuary in Yorkshire. Please find further information within the project specification. The contract is anticipated to start on 04/09/2023 for a period of 29 weeks, until 26/03/2024.
