Description

Devon County Council (DCC) & Torbay Council (TC) are anticipating jointly procuring an Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service to be in place from 1st July 2025. We are keen to hear from providers who might want to be part of this pre-procurement process. Commissioners do not have a defined blueprint about how the service or services should be configured and delivered – we are keen to hear from the market. Please note that this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is not a call for competition at this stage. However, both Councils would like to hear your ideas, particularly about how you might be involved in helping us to deliver our mandatory Public Health responsibilities , in flexible, responsive, cost-effective ways. Our requirements are likely to include (but may not be limited to): • Accessible services – to all ages and abilities – in person, by telephone and online. • Adaptable services – that can flex and transform to understand and respond appropriately to changing behaviours, changing needs, changes in society and work with partners and people. • High quality, cost-effective services. • Clinically safe and robust provision. • Non-judgmental and confidential services including sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and blood borne virus (BBV) testing, treatment, and management; HIV PrEP; the full range of contraceptive provision; health improvement and prevention. • Services that identify and pro-actively address health inequalities. • Services that use data and insights to continuously adapt and improve. Please respond by providing an outline of how you would want to play a part in helping us deliver our Integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health Service as described above by 12 noon on 11th August 2023.
