Legal Justification
A new regional LIMS has been procured and is at implementation phase. The delay in go-live of the new LIMs system necessitates and extension, as indicated to 31st December 2022, to allow the LIMS project to be live and implemented and to allow a new regional tender for Cellular Pathology services to be awarded and implemented as aligned with new LIMS. This extension is being conducted in line with Reg 72(1)(c) of the 2015 PCR.
