Description
The purpose of this service is to provide a high quality, personalised, bed based intermediate care service supporting the home first approach within the Borough of Knowsley. Only those providers registered within borough will be eligible for this contract as therapy staff are provided by a third party which are contracted to deliver services within the borough of Knowsley.\r \r The Service is to be provided in a Care Quality Commission registered care setting in an environment that meets the persons needs and offers a safe and comfortable setting for the duration of the intervention required. Only those providers with a minimum CQC rating of requires improvement may apply.\r \r The service aims to prevent unnecessary admissions to acute hospitals and premature admissions to longterm care, and to further support timely discharge from a hospital setting. \r \r Bed based intermediate care is designed to provide people with short term, intensive therapy support, to stabilise and improve their physical, mental, and functioning ability. This then enables people to move on to a less intensive reablement care intervention or back into independent living within the community.\r \r Bidders are advised that the deadline set out in the documents is absolute. You are advised to upload your submission well in advance of the deadline to avoid any technical issues that might arise causing you to fail to meet the deadline which would lead to the rejection of your submission. The Council is conscious that Bidders spend a huge amount of time, effort and expense in putting together a submission and is keen to ensure that no bid is rejected for this reason.\r \r In submitting your quotation you agree to contract on the terms and conditions as detailed on The Chest. Due to the Councils obligations of fairness and equal treatment to all bidders it cannot accept amendments to these terms and conditions or alternative terms and conditions. If you seek to amend the terms and conditions or submit alternative terms and conditions the Council may reject your tender.\r
