Description

This tender is to cover the Civil & Structural Engineering Design services on the development of the Rawtenstall Market only. The successful Civil & Structural Engineers will be required to design the structural & civil elements for the existing Market building working closely with the Architects and MEP Design Consultants and in accordance with the IStructE Structural Plan of Work 2020 Stages 1 to 7. A similar pathological approach should be used to design the required civils including all water discharges to meet current regulations. Depending on budget consideration should be given to rainwater harvesting design and solar PVs on the roof. Additional structural support maybe required to the roof to carry solar PVs. All groundworks need to be sufficient to take required loads. Consideration should be given to levelling up the floor in the existing market hall.
