Description
The Independent Review Mechanism (IRM) manages the process by which prospective or approved adopters, and prospective or existing foster carers, can seek a review of a ‘qualifying determination’ made by either their adoption or fostering agency.
Total Quantity or Scope
The Welsh Government is seeking to award a contract to manage the Independent Review Mechanism (IRM) for Fostering and Adoption in Wales from 1 August 2024 . This contract will manage the Independent Review Mechanism (IRM) for Adoption and Fostering on behalf of the Welsh Ministers in accordance with the Independent Review of Determinations (Adoption and Fostering) (Wales) Regulations 2010.
