Description

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GG&C) ("the participating authority") has a requirement for the supply and delivery of Orthopaedic Lower Limb Body Worn Devices which are medical devices that are designed to support and stabilise joints or weakened/injured body parts, creating proper alignment, pressure redistribution or management of pain.

Lot Division

1 Ankle Splint

Ankle orthotics covers a large range of devices which control the alignment of, and provides stability to the ankle. They can also be designed to offload weight from the foot and ankle by distributing the weight further up the leg.

2 Orthopaedic Walker Boot

Orthopaedic walker boot stabilizes and immobilizes the foot for treatment involving conservative post-operative care, moderate to severe ankle sprains, stable and metatarsal fractures and soft-tissue injuries.

3 Orthopaedic Knee Brace

Orthopaedic knee braces are used to immobilise the knee and keep it in a specific position so that it can heal without further strain or stress on the joint.
