Description

The Cumbria Office of the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner (the Commissioner) intends to commission a programme of voluntary interventions with perpetrators of domestic violence and abuse and those at risk of becoming perpetrators of such abuse to commence April 1st 2025. This preventative and early intervention programme will take a holistic approach working with perpetrators, victims and their families using restorative principals to prevent and reduce incidents of low to medium-level domestic abuse. It will provide structured group work, individual work, or a combination of both, where perpetrators are challenged to recognise abuse & reflect on their own behaviour and its impact. Programmes can be tailored to respond to the needs of specific groups, whilst delivering a Service Model which is flexible to engage with and meet often complex individual needs.

Total Quantity or Scope

The Commissioner is issuing this notice as awareness communication to alert potential bidders of the Commissioners intention to advertise a future tender opportunity. It is important to note that this PIN is not a call for competition, and it is NOT a pre-qualification, and as such potential providers will need to express an interest in any future tender opportunity once a contract notice is published in Find a Tender Service (FTS) and on Contracts Finder, which is anticipated to be in early September 2024.
