Description
Bristol City Council are holding a supplier information event ahead of issuing a formal Invitation to Tender for a Defects and Emergency Works Term Maintenance Contract and invite the market to attend. Please note: We are running a combined market engagement event so the event will discuss both the procurement of BCC's Defects and Emergency Works Term Maintenance Contract and Highways and Associated Works Framework.
Total Quantity or Scope
Bristol City Council is engaging the market ahead of issuing the following procurement opportunities the Defects and Emergency Works Term Maintenance Contract. The Term Maintenance contract will support BCC’s maintenance team in delivering its statutory duties, including repairing roads, fixing potholes and repairing footways. The contract is intended to be let for an initial 8 year period with two optional 2 year extensions (max duration 12 years). We wish to invite contractors to a virtual supplier's information event on Wednesday 16th October from 10:00 to 11:30am. We recommend this event is attended by any prospective bidder for the framework and/or term contract. The purpose of the event is to engage with the market in advance of issuing a formal ITT's by providing early information and background to our requirements and gain an understanding of the market capacity / capability to deliver the scope. We intend to discuss the scopes of each procurement as well as providing an overview of the procurement and contracting approaches.
