Description
The PEACEPLUS LGBTQIA+ Community Engagement Project aims to deliver an LGBTQIA+ support, education and awareness programme that builds greater collaboration across the LGBTQIA+ support infrastructure enabling and supporting the delivery of better local services and an outreach programme that will increase awareness, understanding and respect for the LGBTQIA+ community in Belfast. This project contributes to the implementation of the Celebrating Cultures and Diversity theme under the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan. The overall target requirement for the project is 625 participants, within an allocated budget of £391,672 (excluding VAT), from date of contract award (planned for March 2025) to December 2027. This project forms parts of the Belfast PEACEPLUS Local Community Action Plan, which is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice is to notify the market of Belfast City Council’s intention to hold a pre-market engagement event with interested suppliers to provide information on the PEACEPLUS LGBTQIA+ Community Engagement Project. As part of this process Belfast City Council will host a pre-market engagement consultation on Tuesday 19th November 2024, 10am – 12pm in Belfast City Council Offices at 9 Adelaide Street, Belfast, BT2 8GA to provide further detail to interested parties including the project requirements, key deliverables and results, the procurement process and the indicative timeframes for the project. Anyone interested in attending this session is required to register their interest by e-mailing peacepluslap@belfastcity.gov.uk by COP Friday 15th November 2024. A maximum of 2 individual per organisation can register to attend and further detail will be issued to registered attendees in advance of the session.
