Description

Hull City Council (The Authority) has awarded a contract to provide mental health counselling. Key Criteria: Quality and Innovation - The provider continues to be performance managed on a quarterly basis using key performance indicators: Value - The provider has consistently delivered a valuable service within the available budget allocation. Integration, Collaboration, Service Sustainability The support provides seamless access to counselling support for the young people within Refresh and improves their outcomes in terms of drug and alcohol use. The provider and Refresh are tasked with working together to improve the offer available to young people, this includes collaborating with young people to ensure their views are included in service design. Regular partnership meetings are in place between the two services as well as regular engagement with young people to ensure this occurs. Improving access - Young people referred into The Warren for mental health support receive an initially assessment within 24 hours of referral and ongoing regular mental health support, ensuring improvements in their mental health as well as their drug and alcohol use. Social Value - The Provider works across a variety of services engaging young adults in programmes across Hull and those that they have created. They use local and experienced workforce to add to their social value.
