Description

NHS North East London has commissioned a counselling, therapy and psychosocial service for young people between the ages of 16-25 who live or work in Hackney or the City of London. The Service is: • Counselling / Psychotherapy / Art psychotherapy (12-24 sessions) • Saturday Service Drop In for young people • Advice and Information (e.g. support and signposting for housing issues, employment and benefits) • Project Indigo - LGBTQ+ psychosocial support group • Growing Minds - Improving access for African Caribbean Heritage (ACH) Young People whose needs are not being met in statutory services / declining statutory services. • Training and supervision for other professionals

2. VI.3

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C. The approximate annual value of the contract is £635,965. The contract term is from 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025, with the option of a 1-year extension to 31st March 2026. The date of conclusion of the contract is 14th March 2024.

3. II.2.4

The therapy service is for young people living and working in the City of London or Hackney. The current provider of the Service is meeting the contractual requirements to a satisfactory level and the intention is to award the providers the contract for the period 1st April 2024 to 31st March 2025 (with the option of an additional year extension), Following PSR Direct Award Process C as there is no change to the contract terms. The annual value of the contract is £635,965. The total value of the contract, including extension, would be £1,271,930.
