Description
North Somerset Council is looking to procure adult weight management services to support North Somerset residents to change behaviour, lose weight and maintain a healthier weight: There will be two lots available: Lot 1: Tier 2 commissioned service - Men Overweight (BMI>25) / Obese (BMI>30) men aged 16+ and should provide an alternative offer to the traditional group-led sessions Lot 2: Tier 2 commissioned service - Adults Overweight (BMI>25) /Obese (BMI>30) adults aged 16+, this is a general group-led weight management service to target all age ranges and socio-economic groups, with KPI's to target: under 55's, lower socio-economic groups, black and minority ethnic groups and people with disabilities. To be awarded to an existing supplier under the Provider Selection Regime - Direct Award Process C Approx. lifetime value - £25000 whole contract Duration: 01..02.2025 - 31.03.2025

The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 23 January 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Current provider was Satisfactory or above in all Key Criteria.
