Description

The Council conducted a series of reviews and market engagement exercises around its current provision of telecare services, through the Pro-Contract Portal, entitled Soft Market Testing for Telecare/Technology Enabled Care (TEC) Services in Hackney (Reference DN 595498). The outcome of this is that the Council is procuring a Technology Enabled Living (TEL) Service that will support vulnerable people and their carers across the Hackney Borough. The Council is seeking expressions of interest from potential bidders capable of delivering a TEL service, comprising equipment, call monitoring, and response service components, through either a lead provider model or as a single bidder able to demonstrate the relevant experience and capability to deliver all three components. Bidders are encouraged to consider working with local SME organisations

Total Quantity or Scope

As outlined above this is a services and goods requirement to deliver Technology Enabled Living covering the provision of a response service, call monitoring and equipment to vulnerable adults within the borough.

Renewal Options

This contract is a six year contract with an initial contract period of three (3) years with three (3) one (1) by one (1) year options to extend.
