Description

The service to be provided is an advocacy service for adults, which includes the following types of advocacy support: • Care Act Advocacy • Independent Mental Health Advocacy • Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy • NHS Complaints Advocacy • Relevant Person's Representatives • Rule 1.2 Representatives • General Advocacy The annual block contract value of the contract is £400,000 plus inflation to be applied prior to contract award, reviewable in accordance with the Service Agreement.

Total Quantity or Scope

This procurement is undertaken under Chapter 3 of Part 2 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (also known as the "light touch" regime). The process adopted uses the primary methodology of an open tender, but the Council reserves the right to make such adjustments as are required to facilitate the process. The Council will ensure that the tender process is, and will remain, fair and transparent. Suppliers will be required to express interest in this opportunity on the Open E-Procurement system. If not already registered on Open please register at the following link: https://open-uk.org/. Suppliers will then be granted access to the tender documentation - Project #OPEN202550. Please note that registering on Open and expressing interest does not mean that you have bid for the tender - once the above steps are complete you will be required to download, complete and submit the tender documentation. It is the Council's view that TUPE applies to this procurement and relevant information is provided within the Tender documents. Additional information: There is an option to extend by 2 periods of 12 months.
