This notice announces the award of a one year contract for the "Provision of Support for Mission Aircrew Optical Trainer (MAOT)"

Total Quantity or Scope

The Authority has a requirement to award a one year contract for the "Provision of Support for Mission Aircrew Optical Trainer (MAOT)". This will involve ad-hoc on-site support and maintenance services for a Synthetic Training Aid used at RAFC Cranwell.

Legal Justification

The value of the requirement is under the current PCR 2015 threshold for central government bodies. The selected supplier have supported the training equipment for the past 3 years, and are the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and owner of the software and operating system underpinning the operation of the equipment. The selected suppliers quotation was more competitively priced than others received.
