Legal Justification
The Axiom platform is the only instrument capable of providing medium-high throughput electrophysiological MEA recordings in a 96-well plate format simultaneously. It is the only platform that offers electrode recording with integrated optogenetic stimulation. Further, the company pairs with external companies to customise MEA plates and applications, and offer an "MEA creator" kit that allows groups to develop their own MEA plates and systems - an option that is not available for other platforms.
