NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands CSU on behalf of Birmingham Women and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, as Lead Provider of the West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative (https://toucanwestmids.nhs.uk/), intend to award a contract for the provision of:1a) Eating Disorder Day Care Services; a standalone unit,and 2a) Eating Disorder Intensive Support at Homes (ED-ISH) Services: North.

1 | Basic Selection Criteria This notice serves as the intention to award a contract under the Competitive Process. The successful provider will deliver an Eating Disorder Day Care Services: Standalone unit for children and young people aged 13-18 within the West Midlands, and an Eating Disorder Intensive at Home (ED-ISH) Support for children and young people aged 13-18 within the North region of the West Midlands who require intensive mental health treatment to support discharge and step down from hospital.This service is an enhanced specialised service and has been awarded to a new provider.As a result of this Competitive Process a contract will be awarded to the successful provider for a period of 2 years, commencing from 01st April 2025. It is anticipated that the service provision resulting from this Competitive Process will have a value of £2,975,264.72 for the contract period. Additional information: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. Award Criteria

2 | Key Criteria - Lot 1 Eating Disorder Services; Day Care This notice serves as the intention to award a contract under the Competitive Process. The successful provider will deliver an Eating Disorder Day Care Services: Standalone unit for children and young people aged 13-18 within the West Midlands.This service is an enhanced specialised service and has been awarded to a new provider.As a result of this Competitive Process a contract will be awarded to the successful provider for a period of 2 years, commencing from 01st April 2025. It is anticipated that the service provision resulting from this Competitive Process will have a value of £1,825,943.80 for the contract period. Additional information: This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to the relevant authority by midnight 24th March 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.Any representations should be sent to kimberley.walker13@nhs.nhsThe award decision-makers are West Midlands CAMHS Provider Collaborative. The conflicted member was excluded from participating in the assessments. The Basic Selection Criteria scoring methodology was either Pass/Fail or For InformationThe Key Criteria were scored sub-weighted questions, as follows:Quality and Innovation – 25.00%Value – 10.00%Integration, Collaboration and Service Sustainability – 40.00%Improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice – 15.00%Social value – 10.00%Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust passed the Basic Selection Criteria and received the highest combined overall weighted Key Criteria score out of 100.00%.
