Description

National Grid needs has adopted a more sophisticated approach to the management of risk registers, schedule and cost risk simulations and analysis to avoid missing project deadlines and has thus purchased a Risk Management SaaS package that will be used for the management of risks relating to construction projects. There is a need to move from a project to programmatic risk management approach: To meet the target of delivering 50 GW by 2030, Strategic Infrastructure will need to manage 17-20 onshore projects, and up to a total of 30 projects across both onshore and offshore. To minimize the potential impact of project 'risk silos, SI will adopt a programmatic approach to the management of risks.
