This notice is an intention to award a contract to the incumbent provider following the Direct Award C process under The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The approximate lifetime value of the 2-year contract is £1,529,000 The services associated with this contract shall be provided between the start and end date of this contract.

The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Procurement Act (2023) do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to Coventry City Council via email address procurement.services@coventry.gov.uk by 24th March 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award a contract under the Direct Award C process of the PSR. Coventry City Council intends to award this new contract to its incumbent Provider against the named 'Key Criteria' in the tender documentation (section II.2.5 Award Criteria of this notice). The ability to respond to diverse and increasing demands based on local young peoples' needs with innovative service models is critical under this contract and a therefore higher weighting was attributed to the Key Criteria 'Quality and Innovation'. No conflicts of interests were identified of the individuals involved in the decisions associated with this contract award.
