Providing Outpatient activity for Neurology patients. Working within the parameters of our existing Neurology East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust standard operating procedures.

Consultant Neurology Outpatient new and follow up activity. 8 clinics per month. Completion of assosciated admin and onward referals, running between April 2025 - March 2026. Face to face Consultant led Outptient clinics. CPV Code – 85112200-9 Outpatient care servicesThe existing provider is satisfying the original contract and based on assessment of the provider against the weighted key criteria, it is considered they will satisfy the proposed contract to the required standard.The contract will operate for 12 months with an estimated value of £140,000

The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by midnight 28th March 2025. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR.The award decision makers are East Sussex Health care NHS Trust, Medine Senior Management team.No conflicts of interest have been registered.The Provider is satisfying all requirements of the current contract with regular reporting and monitoring and is expected to fully satisfy the requirements of the new contract. An assessment of the current Provider with regard to the key criteria was conducted and it was concluded that the Provider is meeting the required standards with high quality services provided with experienced staff at value.The weighting of the key to award the contract was (i) quality and innovation 20%(ii) value 20%(iii) integration, collaboration and service sustainability 20%(iv) improving access, reducing health inequalities and facilitating choice 20%(v) social value 20%These criteria are considered of high importance as they are linked to the key metrics of the NHS standard contract under which this subcontract will be let and the terms and conditions under which East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is commissioned to deliver this activity and to demonstrate value for money.
