Other Information
** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** This contract has been awarded under the urgent circumstances provision of the Provider Selection Regime (PSR). This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The reason for the urgent award was due to the ICB receiving a request from NHSE on the 07/11/2024 stating the urgent actions for all ICBs to take forward following the emergence of clade 1b mpox cases in the UK. A new service needed to be arranged urgently due to an unforeseen emergency which created safety concerns that posed a risk to patients and the public and therefore a rapid response was required. The ICB's CFO approved this urgent award on the 18th December 2024. No conflicts were declared.
