WRAP wants to contract the services of a contractor, with industry knowledge, who will collaborate with our South Africa in-country partners the Consumer Goods Council Services (CGCSA), to meet the Ballmer Project deliverables.

Legal Justification

The current supplier has only a few weeks remaining on their Purchase Order (PO) and contract with WRAP – expiring 31st March I believe. A lapse in service would result in disruption, impacting WRAP’s operations before the new procurement is finalised. Given these factors, a Direct Award has been considered to bridge the service gap whilst ensuring compliance with procurement regulations, for £22.5k covering up to a three-month period would enable continued service while the tender process progresses.
