Total Quantity or Scope

Sussex Community NHS Foundation Trust require Cisco Catalyst switching infrastructure for data centre. The award is for hardware and cabling to implement this infrastructure including next 24x7x4 support from Cisco in the event of a failure for 5 years. The purchase of this equipment was supported as part of the trusts intention to re-design data centres.Funding has come from 24/25 capital underspend as discussed at capital review group and approved at EMG.The contract award is for the purchase of hardware and cabling to implement this infrastructure including next 24x7x4 support from Cisco in the event of a failure for the duration of 5 years. A quote exercise has been completed compliantly under the North of England Framework via Direct Award and it is recommended to proceed with the contract award to ITGL Ltd for the purchase of the equipment in preparation for data centre works.
