Description
The Leicester Recovery Hub will play a key role in supporting vulnerable people engaged in substance use and street lifestyles, including dependent drinkers and drug users. The service will operate from a physical City Centre location, working with partners across the local treatment system to support individuals already in treatment, and those not currently in treatment. The service provides brief/semi-structured interventions to people with substance use needs, including street drinking and other substances associated to street lifestyle issues. The service also provides a wet day centre provision to allow dependent street drinkers to consume alcohol in a safe environment, whilst receiving interventions.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to confirmation of contract award notice. The awarding of this This contract is subject to has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 27/03/2025. This contract has not yet formally now been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to formally awarded using direct award under the PSR. process C. Conflicts of interest identified among the Public Health Consultant, Lead Commissioner and, Contract Manager: 0. No conflicts or potential conflicts have been declared. Each of these elements are considered fundamental to the delivery close of the service, and are assessed as having equal weighting as part of the decision making. Commissioners also considered the relative importance of each of the key criteria. In assessing this, a decision was reached that each of the criteria should be considered as having equal weight, owing the need for a holistic service offer that satisfies each of the criteria.
