Description
NHS England - North West (the Relevant Authority) have issued an urgent contract awards to deliver Liaison and Diversion & RECONNECT services and Mental Health Treatment Requirement Services for Lancashire and Cumbria for a period of 12 months.

Following the recommendation report from the Independent Patient Choice and Procurement Panel review, the Relevant Authority has made the decision to abandon the competitive process and re-run the procurement exercise for this service. The Relevant Authority has issued a contract via urgent direct award to the incumbent provider for a period of 12 months. This period allows sufficient time for this process to be completed while maintaining continuity of service. The lifetime value of the contract is £4,243,769.21. This is an existing service. The contract commences 01 April 2025. |

The service will offer structured psychological support to those subject to a court ordered community sentence. Following a procurement process that resulted in a non award of contract, the Relevant Authority has issued a contract via urgent direct award to the incumbent provider for a period of 12 months. This period allows sufficient time for a new procurement process to be completed while maintaining continuity of service. The lifetime value of the contract is £726,072 This is an existing service. The contract commences on 1 April 2025. |
