Legal Justification

The selection of the provider under Direct Award option C of the Provider Selection Regime is justified by the fact that the current contract is nearing its expiration, prompting the Trust to propose a new contract with minimal changes to the existing arrangements to complete the current batch of service users on the waiting list. The current provider has effectively fulfilled the obligations of the current contract and is expected to maintain this level of performance under the proposed contract.
