Description

This notice is placed as a Prior Information Notice (PIN) to inform the market of NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board (BSW ICB) intention to recommission Individual Placement Support Services. The Commissioner would like to understand the level of provider interest in delivering this service. Commissioners intend to hold a market engagement event with potential bidders to provide information on the service within BSW and to assist commissioners with shaping their procurement strategy and service specification. This is not a call for competition. NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board is seeking to secure a Provider who has the capability and capacity to deliver Individual Placement Support in line with the specified requirements. The service will provide intensive, individual support aiming to help people with a Severe Mental illness (SMI) to gain and retain paid competitive employment with the implementation of the evidenced based IPS employment approach. The service will be for people aged 18+ with an SMI open to secondary mental health care and also only Primary Care. The geography covered is Bath, North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire. The anticipated annual contract value is £710,995 per annum with additional £442,000 Service Development Fund to expand current service delivery into primary care, in line with national requirements There will be no additional investment. TUPE is likely to apply.
