Description
A Referral Management System (RMS) is commissioned by St Helens & Warrington Places to facilitate high-quality healthcare referrals from primary care to the appropriate providers. One element of the RMS is Specialist Triage which conducts clinical peer reviews of referrals to ensure quality and compliance with NICE guidelines and Evidence-Based Interventions (EBI).
Total Quantity or Scope
NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB - St Helens & Warrington Places intend to award an 11 month contract via Direct award C to the incumbent provider to deliver the RMS Specialist Triage Service in St Helens and Warrington. The contract will start on the 8th of May 2025, expire on 31st March 2026 and has a contract value of £320,833.

On the 20th February 2025 and 4th March 2025, St Helens Place and Warrington Place respective Leadership Teams approved this decision. There were no conflicts of interest declared at St Helens Leadership Team. At Warrington Leadership Team a direct conflict of interest was declared and managed according to the ICB policy on Managing Conflicts of Interest.
