Location

LUHFT operates across 4 main sites based within the Liverpool City Region, and delivers services to the whole of the North West of England as well as providing some specialist services to Wales and Isle of Man. Merseyside is the majority user of the provider however services are also accessed by patients from other parts of NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB, NHS Greater Manchester ICB and NHS Lancashire and South Cumbria ICB. in addition NHS England commissions a number of specialist and highly specialist services.

Description

NHS Acute Trust Services to deliver adult services including medical care, critical care, diagnostic imaging and pathology, end of life care, cancer care, community services, outpatients, surgery and urgent and emergency care, including urgent treatment centres..

Total Quantity or Scope

NHS Cheshire and Merseyside ICB has awarded a one year contract via Direct Award A to the main acute secondary care service provider across Merseyside. The contract commenced on 1st April 2024 and will expire on the 31st March 2025 with an estimated total annual contract value of £1,096,673,719 (includes all co-commissioners) This contract now includes elements of service that have been delegated by NHS England.
