Description

Leicester City Council (LCC) invites tenders for the provision of Street Lighting Services on a non-exclusive basis. Suppliers will be required on an ad hoc basis to aid in completing statutory duties. The Framework will be divided up into two Lots according to the type of Services required: • Lot 1 – Dayworks • Lot 2 – Schedule of Rates

Lot Division

1 Lot 1 - Dayworks
  • Value: £175K

Lot 1 will be used for the provision of teams on a day rate basis to work under the general direction of the Employers staff. Materials on this work will be provided by the Employer free of charge. Waste and arisings on this should be deposited in the Employers skips at St Margarets Depot, Slater Street, Leicester or another location determined by the Employer.

2 Lot 2 - Schedule of Works
  • Value: £175K

Lot 2 will be used for work or programmes of work where the Employer can schedule the work more clearly and well in advance. In this case the Supplier is responsible for providing all the labour (people) and plant (equipment) to deliver the service. Materials on this work will be provided by the Employer free of charge. Waste and arisings on this work should be deposited in the Employers skips at St Margarets Depot, Slater Street, Leicester or another location determined by the Employer.

Renewal Options

The proposed Contract will operate as a framework agreement and be for two (2) years with an option to extend for periods totalling no more than a further one (1) year.
