Provision of a nurse-led, health inclusion service to the City of London Rough Sleeper Assessment Centre known as Snow Hill Court
Total Quantity or Scope
The overall aim of this service will be to ensure access to primary health care on an Outreach basis to the residents of the City of London Rough Sleeper Assessment Centre. The service will ensure 1 day per week (0.2FTE) input from a specialist Community nurse, which will involve attendance at Snow Hill Court 1 half day per week, with some follow-up and casework.

Legal Justification
This is a Contract Award Notice under the Health Care Services [ Provider Selection Regime] Regulations 2023 The Contracting Authority has a statutory duty to support people experiencing homelessness, including rough sleepers, and to prevent homelessness, including rough sleepers, and to prevent homelessness. This duty includes providing a health inclusion service. The service described in this Notice is a fundamental service, and any delay in awarding the Contract to satisfy the requirements of regulations 6 to 13 would highly likely have posed a risk to residents of the City of London Rough Sleeper Assessment Centre being able to have access to primary health care. The Contracting Authority has awarded a new Contract to the contractor named in this Notice under Regulation 14 (2) [Urgent award or modification] of the PSR. The decision to award a new urgent contract under Regulation 14 (2) of the PSR to the contractor named in this notice has been approved in accordance with the Contracting Authority’s own internal governance. In accordance with Regulation 21 of the PSR, any potential conflicts of interest have been considered. The Contracting Authority intends to manage any conflicts of interest which may arise during the Contract in accordance with it’s own internal governance
