Description

Wrexham County Borough Council (WCBC) has appointed a single Contractor for the maintenance, servicing, repair and upgrading of Warden Call, CCTV & Door Entry Systems, together with the supply & fitting of replacement communal security doors and frames to Council owned buildings within the County Borough. The Contracted Work will support WCBC's duty to maintain Warden Call, CCTV & Door Entry Systems located at all sites within their property portfolio in line with regulatory guidelines. Works will be let under a JCT Measured Term Contract 2016

Total Quantity or Scope

This Contract relates to for the maintenance, servicing, repair and upgrading of Warden Call, CCTV & Door Entry Systems, together with the supply & fitting of replacement communal security doors and frames to Council owned flat blocks within the County Borough. Wrexham CBC has a duty to maintain Warden Call, CCTV & Door Entry Systems located at all sites within their property portfolio in line with regulatory guidelines. The successful Contractor will be required to deal with all types of works as specified, and complete such works, including all building works associated with the contract. The Contractor shall be responsible for visiting the site(s) to take all their own measurements, site surveys, necessary particulars and should arrange with the establishment for gaining access to the relevant areas. This is more applicable to any remedial works that arise from servicing and maintenance works. The Contractor will be responsible for ensuring continuity between trades if required. The Contractor must also be familiar with the “Right to Repair Regulations” and ensure that the contracted service provided fulfils this requirement.
