Description

South Tyneside Council require a contractor to carry out Heating installations and associated Works which will be awarded on the basis of Most Economically Advantageous Tender evaluated in accordance with the criteria as set out in this ITT. The works will be on an as and when required basis and will include but not be limited to the full and partial replacement of wet, gas based domestic central heating systems and electric fires / surrounds to South Tyneside Councils housing stock. South Tyneside Council Housing Services, Property Services and Asset Management "in house" labour team, deliver heating installations and associated works to properties within South Tyneside. Where South Tyneside Council cannot deliver the requirements of the programme, we are looking to engage the services of a contractor to deliver the shortfall in heating installations and associated works. South Tyneside Council cannot guarantee the volume and value of works across the duration of the framework. STC will recommend engaging the services of the number 1 ranked tenderer to complete the identified works and the number 2 ranked tenderer will be held in reserve.
