Other Information

** PREVIEW NOTICE, please check Find a Tender for full details. ** This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Written representation can be made for the attention of the Head of Procurement to kentchft.procurementnotices@nhs.net. The standstill period will end at midnight on the 2nd July 2025. This direct award is the decision of the Trust Board. We have not noted any declared conflicts or potential conflicts of interest of individuals making the decision. 1) KCHFT are seeking to award a new contract for existing services. These services are currently commissioned and the selected providers are the incumbent provider for each of the provisions. 2) The existing provider is not the only capable provider as KCHFT are aware of other providers within the market. 3) There is not unrestricted patient choice applicable to these arrangements i.e. when accessing the services described the patient does not have the choice of provider within Kent. 4) The considerable change threshold has not been met as the new arrangements do not mean the contract is materially different to the current one as the only change is the name of the contracting authority and the lifetime of the contract is not at least £500K higher, and 25% higher for the contract being replaced
