Description

The Council is seeking to identify a Supplier(s) to provide furnished accommodation for 9 young adults, which will be split across districts, close to good transport links. The service will be split into the following lots, enabling Suppliers to bid for one or more lots: a. Lot 1 – Worcester City, b. Lot 2 – Redditch, c. Lot 3 – Bromsgrove. If it is not possible to identify suitable accommodation within the above 3 lots, a fourth Lot (d) for Kidderminster may be considered, or alternatively, more than one property may be considered in one of the other locations

The Council is looking to block book 2 or 3 bedded HMO in Bromsgrove providing UASC Care Leavers with a suitable location to meet their cultural needs.
4 Kidderminster

If it is not possible to identify suitable accommodation within lots one to three, a fourth Lot for Kidderminster may be considered.

Renewal Options

The contract period will run for 3 years from 1st January 2026 to 31st December 2028, with an option to extend for up to a further 2 years subject to the availability of funding and future priorities.

Award Criteria

Simple description Stage 1 Selection Criteria will be based on Price 65% - Quality 30% - Social Value 5% Price will be assessed based on the submitted fixed tender price. The assessment of these responses will identify the Suppliers to be invited to participate in Stage 2 Site Visits. Stage 2 Site Visits will be undertaken for the top 3 scoring suppliers in each lot after Stage 1 quality and price assessments. Please see tender guidance for a detailed description of the process.
