Description
Feasibility Study
Total Quantity or Scope
Through discussions with Middlesbrough Football Club and Captain Cook Birthplace Trust there is an ambition to relocate the Captain Cook Museum to a new purpose-built facility within the grounds of Stewart Park. The museum would provide a world class, aspirational venue that brings to life the story of Captain Cook, the history of Middlesbrough Football Club and the wider story of Middlesbrough's growth from a small farming hamlet to an industrial powerhouse in the 19th Century through to modern day. The project will also look into the suitability of locating Teesside Archives at the venue.
