Description

Wigan Council is committed to creating safer, more resilient communities in line with the upcoming Martyn’s Law, also known as the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025. This legislation will require qualifying venues and public spaces to implement proportionate security measures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure staff are trained to respond effectively to potential threats. To support this, we are seeking a digital solution that can offer real-time communication and alerting capabilities. This pre-market engagement exercise aligns with our Progress with Unity strategy, a borough-wide movement to: - Create fair opportunities for all residents and businesses - Help towns and neighbourhoods flourish through safety, inclusion, and resilience

CPV Codes

  • 72000000 - IT services: consulting, software development, Internet and support
  • 75200000 - Provision of services to the community
