Description

This is an INTENTION TO AWARD Notice following The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023 - Competitive Process. North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) is a commissioning support service working for and on behalf of NHS England North West (the Relevant Authority) who are undertaking a competition to provide Community COVID-19 Vaccination Service - Outreach Service for North West. Contract Start Date: 01 October 2025 Contract End Date: 31 March 2026 The contract term is for an initial period of 6 months, with an option to extend for a further 12 months at the discretion of the Relevant Authority and subject to satisfactory contractual and financial performance.

This is an intention to award notice to advise that the relevant authority intends to award a contract under a competitive process under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or the Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award. Contract Start Date: 1st October 2025 Contract End Date: 31st March 2026 … £200,000 for the full service. The key criteria were considered within the award criteria which was laid out in the procurement documents and formed the basis for evaluation questions that providers were asked to respond to. Provider responses were submitted and held on a secure electronic tendering system which evaluators accessed to complete initial evaluation against the scoring criteria, which was laid out in the procurement documents. On completion of the initial evaluation, evaluation panel representatives met to agree a consensus score for each question. The consensus score formed the final score for each question. All Evaluators completed training on the Evaluation process prior to their initial evaluation.
