Description

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. The standstill period begins on the day after the publication of this notice. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by 6th August 2025 to cwp.contracts@nhs.net. This contract has not yet formally been awarded; this notice serves as an intention to award under the PSR. Waythrough, established in October 2024 through the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship, proposes an extension to its successful Chester & Wirral Pathway Service. With demonstrated expertise in addressing mental health, substance use, housing, and related support services, Waythrough have a proven track record of combating poverty and disadvantage across communities in England. The Chester & Wirral Pathway Service (Pathway Service), operated by Waythrough has demonstrated significant impact in supporting NHS psychiatric patients both during hospital stays and post-discharge. During the review period, the service has generated substantial cost savings for the NHS while providing comprehensive support to 182 individuals through their recovery journey in the first Eight months of the project. 13th June 2025 to 31st March 2026 £173,783
