Legal Justification

This contract is planned to be awarded direct to Gartner UK Ltd under Schedule 5 Paragraphs 5 and 6 of the Procurement Act 2023. The authority requires uninterrupted access to Gartner's proprietary advisory services and research platform as part of a renewal of an existing contract. Gartner is the exclusive provider of key strategic tools including Magic Quadrants, Peer Insights and analyst inquiry services which have become embedded in the authorities process. Other providers do not offer the same breadth or continuity of service.
