Description

Enterprise Oxfordshire Skills is managing, on behalf of Oxfordshire County Council, funding from Department for Education (DfE) to deliver Wave 6 of the Skills Bootcamp programme in Oxfordshire to support key national priority sectors including Digital, Business Administration, Early Years, Care Services, Transport and Logistics, Green Skills and Construction (a) The Built Environment and (b) Green Skills. Enterprise Oxfordshire is looking to appoint providers to deliver 18 Skills Bootcamps. This procurement covers the next nine Skills Bootcamps: Lot 1: Lab Technician Lot 2: Construction Safety Lot 3: Prison Leavers (Green Construction)

3 Prison Leavers (Green Construction)

This specification sets out the requirements for the delivery of a Green Construction Skills Bootcamp aimed at preparing prison leavers at HMP Bullingdon for employment upon release. The programme will focus on providing job-ready skills, industry-recognised training, and guaranteed access to employer vacancies or a minimum 12-week work opportunity. The successful provider must have proven experience delivering skills training in secure environments, engaging with employers, and securing tangible progression outcomes. Delivery must be adapted to the prison environment, comply with all security requirements, and foster positive engagement with learners to support their transition into work.

Renewal Options

Extension only possible if Skills Bootcamp funding or timing are extended by DfE. This is unknown at this point and there is no guarantee that this will occur.
