Provision of specialist fertility services for patients fulfilling the eligibility criteria including: In Vitro Fertilisation (IVF) with or without Intra-cytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) Frozen Embryo Transfer Embryo/Blastocyst Freezing and Storage (Gametes) Surgical sperm recovery (Testicular Epididymal Sperm Aspiration (TESA) / Percutaneous Sperm Aspiration (PESA) including storage where required) Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) unstimulated Donor Oocyte Cycle Donor Sperm Insemination, with IVF/IUI. Donor insemination in following conditions: obstructive azoospermia, nonobstructive azoospermia, severe deficits in semen quality in couples who do not wish to undergo ICSI, where there is a high risk of transmitting a genetic disorder to the offspring, where there is a high risk of transmitting infectious disease to the offspring or woman from the man. Oocyte retrieval for patients undergoing cancer treatments - includes first years' storage. Oocyte or sperm annual storage for patients undergoing cancer treatment.

Legal Justification

Extension of existing contract term to new end date of 31 March 2026, permissible in line with Section 13 - 2A and 2B (ii) of The Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. The modification does not render the contract or framework agreement materially different in character and the cumulative change in the lifetime value of the contract or framework agreement since it was entered into or concluded is less than 25% of the lifetime value of the original contract or framework agreement when it was entered into or concluded
