NHS Arden and Greater East Midlands Commissioning Support Unit (AGCSU), on behalf of NHS England Specialised Commissioning (referred to as the Authority) is inviting suitably qualified and experienced providers express interest in the provision of Hair Epilation Services.As a result of this procurement exercise an agreement will be established with the successful providers for a period of five (5) years. Should the Commissioner’s requirements change during the contract term including due to a service review then this will be managed in accordance with the contractual terms.The deadline for submissions is12.00pm (noon) on Monday 6th October 2025.

This service covers the provision of non-surgical Gender Identity Services for adults that are prescribed as specialised services. Gender identity services includes specialist assessment, non-surgical care packages, certain surgical interventions and immediate associated after care provided by specialist centres. Integrated Care Systems are responsible for commissioning certain non-specialist elements of the NHS pathway of care for individuals with gender dysphoria.Lot 1 – for new providers to complete if they do not currently hold a contract with NHSE for the Provision of Hair Epilation services. Lot 2 – for existing providers that have a contract that is due to expire on 31st March 2026 with NHSE for the Provision of Hair Epilation services.
