Total Quantity or Scope

To provide 9 female acute and 6 male acute inpatient beds in Sheffield or in close proximity to Sheffield.The Trust intends to award a contract to a provider following PSR Most Suitable Provider (MSP) award option. . The Contract will awarded to Cygnet Health Ltd. They are currently meeting all contractual and legislative requirements for the part of this contract which they already provide as detailed in the NHS Standard Subcontract.The contact will be for 6 months with the option to extend for a further 2 x 6 months and has a value of £5,701,610 for the initial 6 month term and the potential extension options.

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) intention to award notice. The awarding of this contract is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 or Procurement Act 2023 do not apply to this award.The publication of this notice marks the start of the standstill period. Representations by providers must be made to decision makers by Midnight on 17th September 2025.
