Description

The contract is for the storage of up to 17, 5 car Class 810 vehicles prior to entry into service. As the vehicles enter into service the storage will then be required for a 5/7 car Class 222 vehicle to support the fleet cascade plan as they exit operational services. Split into 2 lots, Lot 1 warm storage of Class 810 Vehicles, Lot 2 is for cold storage of Class 222 Vehicles.

Other Information

Lot 1 (Class 810 storage) has been discontinued. No award will be made for this lot following operational review, in accordance with Regulation 66 of the Utilities Contracts Regulations 2016. Lot 2 (Class 222 storage) remains active, procedure continues. This corrigendum should be read alongside the corrigendum published on 29/03/2023 concerning amendments to Lot 2. Please note: The contracting entity previously referred to as Abellio East Midlands Limited is now Transport UK East Midlands Limited. The legal entity (company number) 09860485 remains the same.
