Description

Bromley Council is procuring the provision of Day Opportunities for Adults resident in the borough. Day activities provide support and activities which aim to support individuals to maintain their independence, learn new skills, and stay socially connected within their communities. The successful provider will be required to deliver a high-quality, building-based day service for adults (aged 18 and over) with learning disabilities and complex needs, including those who present with behaviour that may challenge. The service must be open and accessible for up to seven days a week ensuring flexibility and consistency in support. It is essential that the service remains person-centred, responsive, and adaptable to the unique and evolving needs of each individual, promoting their well-being, independence, and inclusion. The service will be based at the Astley Centre, Bromley. The block contract will be based on a defined number of sessions to be delivered. Additional sessions over and above this threshold, will be commissioned on a spot purchase basis with the successful bidder. The successful provider will need to work in partnership with the Council and other key stakeholder including health partners and carers / families to promote a holistic service to the people accessing the Service.

Renewal Options

One extension of three years is available from 16th August 2031 to 15th August 2034. The extension option will be at the discretion of the Council in consultation with the supplier and will ensure continuity of service.

Quality Bidders will need to respond to six quality questions. Evaluation of the quality questions will include the operation of minimum score thresholds as set out in the tender documents. If a proposal receives a score below the required threshold then the bid will not be considered further. The weighting for each of the quality questions are: Q1.
