Description

Midlands Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is commissioned to provide Carpal Tunnel Surgery performed under local block anaesthesia within the CCG areas of Cannock Chase and Stafford and surrounds. This procurement is for the provision of such services. MPFT intends to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C The initial value of the contract is £250,000 with an option to extend for a further year giving a lifetime value of £375,000 (volume dependent). The services will be provided between 01.04.25 and 31.03.27 (with extension option to 31.03.28).

This is a Provider Selection Regime (PSR) confirmation of contract award notice. This contract has been awarded under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. For the avoidance of doubt, the provisions of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 do not apply to this award. This contract has now been formally awarded using direct award process C. Date of contract award was 1st April 2025 and the contract for the services runs from 01.04.25 to 31.03.27 with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
