Description

Aberdeen City Council intends to employ an organisation to undertake Single Building Assessment of 22 over-clad, high-rise blocks in Aberdeen. These assessments are to conform to the requirements of the Scottish Government’s ‘’Single Building Assessment Specification Document’’, June 2024. For 20 of these blocks the ownership of these blocks is shared between the Council and a number of private owners.

It should be noted that this 22no relates to the initial core work that is being tendered. This 22no blocks may be subject to post-contract variation, leading to approximately 27no blocks being instructed overall. Tenderers should note that the references to 22no blocks throughout the documents, relate to this core work only, and the actual post-contract number of blocks may be approximately 27no, subject to final instruction. Pricing should be based on the 22no at this tender stage.
