Description
We are inviting expressions of interest from qualified and experienced sub-contractors for the design and delivery of our Deep Drainage Works Package as part of an upcoming UK highways infrastructure project. This package will involve design input and the installation of deep drainage systems including excavation, pipe laying, manhole construction, connection to existing networks, and reinstatement works. All activities must be carried out in accordance with the Specification for Highway Works Series 500, relevant British Standards (e.g. BS EN 1401-1, BS EN 1852-1), and applicable environmental and safety regulations. The scope may also include: Provision of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and drainage record sheets. Compliance with permit requirements (e.g. permit to dig, confined space entry). Coordination with local authorities and statutory undertakers. Interested sub-contractors must demonstrate: Proven experience in delivering deep drainage works on highways projects. Appropriate certifications for materials and installation methods. Robust health, safety, quality assurance, and environmental management systems. The Lower Thames Crossing (LTC) is a new road to better connect Essex and Kent through a tunnel beneath the River Thames.
